1:1 With Joquina Reed JEDI Practitioner and CREATOR OF Divesting from Whiteness - Influence[r]Activism Fireside Chat

Influence[r]Activism is a special 1:1 fireside chat segment at The Future of DEI Summit where we will learn from entrepreneurs, educators and thought leaders sharing insight on their personal impact leadership journey. This session combines personal storytelling, motivational speaking and strategy to drive home the importance of building resilient, time-tested social impact-focused platforms through entrepreneurship, community education and thought leadership in these critical times in society.

Joquina Reed (she/her) is the creator and curator behind the The AntiBlackness Reader Project and Divesting From Whiteness (35K+ on Instagram). Joquina is also the creator behind the Please Say Black and Divesting From Whiteness podcasts. As a former dual faculty administrator role at Louisiana State University as the Director of Forensics, Joquina has since founded J Reed Consulting LLC with a commitment to justice, safety, wellness, and agency on the basis that any formal DEI strategy and practice must be critically informed by community accountability and transparency.
