Influence[r]Activism is a special 1:1 fireside chat segment at The Future of DEI Summit where we will learn from entrepreneurs, educators and thought leaders sharing insight on their personal impact leadership journey. This session combines personal storytelling, motivational speaking and strategy to drive home the importance of building resilient, time-tested social impact-focused platforms through entrepreneurship, community education and thought leadership in these critical times in society.

Blair Imani is the creator of the viral educational series Smarter In Seconds for which she has grown a following of nearly 1M on Instagram alone. Her work primarily centers women and girls, global Black communities, and the LGBTQIA+ community. She is the author of Read This to Get Smarter: about Race, Class, Gender, Disability, and More (2021), Making Our Way Home: The Great Migration and the Black American Dream (2020), and Modern HERstory: Stories of Women and Nonbinary People Rewriting History (2018).

On April 2, Blair released the podcast titled "Thoughts About Feelings" alongside everyone's most beloved library enthusiast, literary activist and mental health advocate, Mychal Threets.
